The Goin’ Postal franchise chain of over 300 stores is known for its hands-on approach to community involvement. During the month of July each year, Goin' Postal offers a replacement American Flag, free of charge, to anyone who brings in a cloth or nylon American flag that is tattered, torn, or faded. That particular patriotic project is part and parcel of the chain’s year-round support for military personnel and their families.
We're also big proponents of recycling, and one of the easiest ways for us to give back to our community is by recycling styrofoam packing peanuts. Traditional packing peanuts take up landfill space and will be there for centuries. So please bring your peanuts and styrofoam to Goin' Postal! We'll be happy to reuse it and give the environment a temporary reprieve. By the way, this store only purchases certified REUSABLE and RECYCLABLE packing peanuts for our packing needs. If you have plastic bubble wrap or clean cardboard boxes, feel free to bring those by as well. We probably won't be able to use them again, but we'll be happy to recycle what we can't.
